October 2011 |  Simon has completed the score to the feature film SOFIA, an Action Thriller starring CHRISTIAN SLATER, DONALD SUTHERLAND      and   TIMOTHY SPALL, and directed by ISAAC FLORENTINE.. Examples of the score can be found on the Music Page. 

 

 

July 2011 |  Simon was part of the music team for the BBC Crime Drama THE BODY FARM. He assisted composer Maurizio Malagnini for Episodes 1 & 2 during the recording sessions at Abbey Road Studios, London. 

 

 

June 2011 |  Simon has completed the score to the feature film EXIT STRATEGY, a Drama Comedy starring JAMEEL SALEEM and comedian KEVIN HART, and directed by  MICHAEL WHITTON. Click here to go to the Exit Strategy Website.

September 2010 |  As part of his work with Christopher Young, Simon was involved in arranging and recording a song with Natalie Cole at Capitol Records, for the film Black Tulip. 

 

 

July 2010 |Simon has begun assisting Composer Christopher Young. Projects include Priest, starring Paul Bettany set for release in 2011, and Black Tulip set for release October 2010.  

 

 

June 2010 | Simon is starting a 5 week internship at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Production facility, providing hands on experience in the world of film music. 

 

May 2010 | Simon is graduating from the SMPTV Class of 2010 at USC on May 14th.

 

April 2010 | LOST. Simon has the opportunity to work on the music for Michael Giacchino on the final season of LOST, Episode 16.  As well as handling some score prepartion duties, he will be conducting some cues with the orchestra.
 

April 2010 | Final Orchestral Session. Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the year will be recording with the 65 piece orchestra, made up of players from the Hollywood Studio Symphony. The recording session is taking place at the Clint Eastwood Scoring Stage, Warner Bros studios, Los Angeles.

 

 March 2010 | Simon will be recording with a 35 piece orchestra in Warner Bros studios for his cue to the film Copy Cat, as part of the class with composer Christopher Young. Check out the cue on the Music Page titled 'Waltz For A Psychopath'.

 

Feb 2010 | Simon will be Recording a Cue with the Hollywood Film Chorale. Check out the cue on the Music Page titled 'The Final Battle'.

 

Oct 2009 | Simon will be starting his mentorship with Oscar nominated composer James Newton Howard this month. James has composed the music to over 100 scores including The Dark Knight, King Kong, and Signs.
